A clean Windows install for testing an application, an update or a configuration you do not mind breaking. Order a server for a month and drop it when the job is done.
What a server does not do
So there are no wrong expectations: a virtual server is not an anonymity tool, it does not replace backups (keep your own copies of anything important), and it is not for anything prohibited by the terms of use. Three or more simultaneous RDP sessions require Microsoft RDS CAL licences. A hardware USB token cannot be plugged into the server itself, but it can be forwarded from your own computer.
